Last Thursday we were in
Bailesti, it was the first time that I went to school there. We went in car
with Paul to this town in the countryside. When we arrived at the class Paul,
the teacher, introduced us to the children. It was very nice because everyone
was very happy that we were there, they always like when foreigners go because
they know they are going to do different and fun activities.
In this case we made a
small gift to give to their mothers for Mother's Day, each child made a card
with cardboard in which they put a frame and decorated with different
materials. Then they wrote a phrase for their mothers. Paul corrected their
mistakes, because they are between six and seven years old and they are
learning to write. When the mistakes were corrected they wrote their phrase on
the card and finished decorating it.
It was a really entertaining
activity for them with which they worked their creativity and their
reading-writing.
Through this activity we could
interact with the children and help them. It was very satisfying because the
children were very grateful to us and even gave us a card to elvira and me.
It was a different
morning and we can not wait to go back to see the children again and do more
activities with them.
