Teaching Portuguese To Romanian Kids

A couple of weeks ago I had the amazing opportunity to give a presentation about my wonderful country Portugal and I gave some Portuguese lessons as well. The kids loved and so did I, they were so excited about learning a new language and learning more about another culture. It made me feel really happy.  I told them about our first King, our other kings as well, my city, the capital and other things. It was such a success that I got the opportunity to repeat it and I hope I'll do it again and again. This presentation motivated me to continue doing what I'm doing and teach them more about my culture and about myself. Who knows, maybe I'll mark their lives in a positive way.
I taught them how to say "I am ....." - Eu sou a/o; "I speak portuguese" - Eu falo português.
In the end of the lesson I sang a song called "Sou uma taça" taught them the lyrics and the choreography and also played a game with them called "jogo das cadeiras" which in English people call dancing chairs for some reason. I loved that week and these days were amazing.

Beijinhos e abraços from your Portuguese Author,
