Knowing our emotions

Last Tuesday I started my personal project in the kindergarten Petrache Poenaru, the thematic is emotion and art but due to other activities already scheduled in kindergarten we did not finish the first session completely.

The first emotion that we worked was fear. We watched a video with the story Where the wild things are, the story of a child who does not fear monsters. Kids really liked the story and they imitated the monsters very well. After watched the video we answered
some questions about it. They talked about things that they were afraid of, like dragons or monsters and they said that when you are afraid you have to run away, but we learned that it is better to try to relax because fear is something normal that everyone feels.

After the small debate the children showed their facial expression of fear, some of them did it really well, experts in expressing emotions!
Here you have some of their faces so you can recognize what is the facial expression of fear.

As I said we could not finish the session, so the next day we will complete it by painting a work of art, The Scream of Munch, and listening to music related to this emotion.
As a surprise, with the different photos of the facial expressions that we are doing during the project, in the final event we will play a game with them.
