The Midterm Meeting

After skipping it once, it was finally due that I attend a midterm meeting, something that along with the on arrival training is a must for every E.V.S. volunteer to do.
I went there with the classic attitude expecting the usual boredom, I mean, of course, there are a lot of volunteers in on place, parties are expected, but it's not always about the parties, the people can be very important, otherwise the midterm will be a collection of sessions that are almost always the same, a room per person, and probably, bad food.

And it was like that, we all had private hotel rooms, there were volunteers complaining about that, we had the standard ol'sessions that one would have during the midterm, and the bad food. But, the people made that all insignificant, after all, in non-formal educations, the peers are the ones who do the teaching.

So it was quite a nice experience, sandwiched by two weekends in Brasov, it turned out to be the perfect thing to let me think and blow off some steam. I was able to meet many nice and cool people, and even see ones that I've met before. I got to hear about their experiences, their projects, and got to share a bit about my own.

To think that it would've turned out in such an amazing way was impossible. I even caught myself feeling a bit down that it had ended during the last hour of my train ride back to Craiova. I really enjoyed taking part of this midterm, and was even kind of glad that I skipped the last one, even though I can't know which one I would've liked more.
