In June, as soon as we came here in Craiova, our organizer was very hyped about a trip they had planned with the kindergarten where she was working. She told us that it's going to be a trip to the famous city of Bran, known for being the city where the "Dracula" castle is situated.
Getting all that hype was nice, we weren't sure what to expect, and some change was what we needed, as we really got sick of Craiova.
So, apparently, our role there was to be the "Fun crew", we were given the task to make activities for the kids to enjoy, and of course, as it was our first "big" task, we made a couple of think tanks and brainstormed ideas about what to do, it wasn't perfect, but it was still something.
We got there, turns out we are staying at "Vila Bran" a place which exceeded our expectations by far, very fancy, yet old-style, and super kid friendly.
We were super impressed, in love with the climate change, from scorching hot, to a somewhat breezy mild temperature. The resort was amazing, it had pools, very... let's say impressive food in the terms of other places we've been to in Romania, and the rooms were nice.
Then came the time for the fun activities, we didn't get to do them the first day, and it turned out that we didn't have much to do except for, be there and look pretty.
So, second day, we went to a fortified city
Râșnov, it was a nice castle, we also went to this Dino park, which was kinda disappointing, because it had no real fossils, everything was a replica, and it was pretty much a kids park made to flush money out of parents (pay to enter, then pay for everything else considered as an "extra" inside... classic). But all in all, very nice afternoon.
After that, we finally had the opportunity to do what we prepared for.
And there we were, Gisela dressed up as a clown, the others singing songs and making balloon animals for the kids, it was quite the circus. The kids were happy, therefore so were we. It turned out very well, without any problems or complications.
Then on the next day, we finally visited "Dracula's" castle, which was a huge turn-down. Tourists, beware, there are way more beautiful things to see in Romania, do not go to Bran.
